    When will the new military discounted tickets be available (2013-2014) and how much will they be? Thanks.

    Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel with your great question, and a big thank you for your service and dedication to our country!

    I'm happy to tell you that the information you're looking for was just officially announced by Disney a couple of days ago! These special Park tickets will be available for purchase from August 12, 2013, through September 24, 2014. These tickets can be purchased by active and retired U.S. military personnel [including active and retired members of the United States Coast Guard, National Guard and Reservists].

    In the recent Disney Parks Blog article, Disney Parks Salute U.S. Military with Special Tickets, Room Rates, you'll find all the details about these special promotional tickets as well as additional information on specially priced rooms! Please note that proper military identification is required and certain blackout dates apply. The pricing for the Walt Disney World tickets is as follows:

    • Disney 4-Day Military Promotional Tickets with Park Hopper Option for $169 each, plus tax
    • Disney 4-Day Military Promotional Tickets with Water Park Fun and More Option for $169 each, plus tax
    • Disney 4-Day Military Promotional Tickets with Park Hopper and Water Park Fun and More Options for $198 each, plus tax
