    We have new magicbands coming! I know we have 5 days prior to checkin to cancel, what happens to our magicbands if we end up canceling? We have family in the area and may end up staying with them. We will keep our tickets.

    Hi Rachel! 

    Congratulations on your spring Walt Disney World Resort vacation and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! 

    I called Guest Services just to make sure and if you cancel after receiving your MagicBands in the mail, they are still yours to keep. The Cast Member said that once they are assigned to a Guest in My Disney Experience, they are non-transferable and that Disney realizes that sometimes last minute changes are unavoidable.

    Since you will be arriving in March, I highly recommend checking out the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. There are beautiful topiary and flower displays, delicious food and drinks, music, events, exhibits, demonstrations and more. My kids love finding their favorite Disney pals in topiary form and playing on the special playgrounds. There are even kid-workshops for them.
