Because of the new Magic Kingdom Welcome Show, are guests allowed to enter the park an hour early? If so, are they allowed to go anywhere in Magic Kingdom? Just curious for our upcoming trip!

Hi Sarah, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Are you as excited as I am about the chance to start your day at Magic Kingdom Park an extra hour earlier each morning? You are indeed correct that approximately one hour prior to the scheduled Park opening time, Guests are now able to enter onto Main Street, U.S.A., with many shops and food establishments open for your convenience.  I am already envisioning taking a leisurely stroll up Main Street, U.S.A., enjoying a delicious breakfast sandwich and Starbucks latte from the Main Street Bakery, listening to those classic old-time tunes, and just soaking up the atmosphere.

While Park attractions will not be open until official Park Opening, Guests will have the ability to stroll along Main Street, U.S.A. and the hub area in front of Cinderella Castle to take pictures and take in the beauty and wonder of the majestic Castle as the Park gets ready to come to life. After you have enjoyed all of the sights, sounds and offerings along Main Street, U.S.A. you will want to make your way down to the Castle Forecourt Stage where the new Let the Magic Begin opening ceremonies take place. The show will kick off each morning approximately 5 minutes before Park opening time, with Mickey and the gang taking to the stage to officially open the Park for the day.

I hope you enjoy this new way to kick off your day at Magic Kingdom Park each morning. Wishing you a wonderful upcoming vacation at the place where the Magic is Endless!
