With the new magic bands do you still receive a receipt for your meal stating how many credits you have left on your dining plan?

    Hi Cynthia,

The new MagicBands are so much fun! While the new Touch to Pay system is in testing phase, you'll currently find a receipt is printed for you at the conclusion of your meal. You'll simply "touch to pay," enter your PIN and the server will then provide you a receipt in order to add gratuity. Because Disney continues to fine tune the new technology, processes are always subject to change. You can request your remaining Disney Dining Plan entitlements at the front desk of your Disney Resort hotel at any time.

When I used my MagicBand to pay for quick service meals and snacks recently, it was to my discretion whether a receipt was printed or not. I enjoyed using the PIN pad to complete my transaction and oftentimes opted to skip the receipt.

Have a magical vacation, Cynthia, and please feel free to send me any other questions coming to mind. I'm happy to help!
