New magic band was linked to wrong account. Cabinet switch it to a different one

Bright suns, Angelina! It won't be long before your travels across the universe bring you to Walt Disney World Resort. Before you launch your ship, I know you want your cargo to be in order so you can speed into the magic.

Once a MagicBand+ is assigned to someone, it cannot be changed. This is probably not the news you wanted to hear. I have been told, however, that all may not be lost. Tech Support may be the hope you are looking for. A Cast Member shared with me that if the MagicBand+ has not been used to access tickets or make purchases, they may be able to help. This is an exception to policy and is not guaranteed.

To ask for assistance, you can call the My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ line and see if anything can be done to reassign the band. Again, not guaranteed, but rebellions are built on hope.

If your adventure extends into the weekend, I hope you have plans to celebrate May the Fourth at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It will be extremely busy with Jedi, Rebels and scavengers from across the galaxy. You don't have to be Force Sensitive to feel its power on this day.

I hope you get your MagicBand+ issues fixed so you can get back to planning your adventure! And I hope your trip is as exciting as making the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs. If you have any other questions, please speed back by planDisney.

May the Force be with You!
