I got my new Magic Band+ that I bought with my hotel reservation. It shows in my app that it’s there but it won’t connect and says that it has already been claimed. I’m the only person on my account. I have tried resetting the band, my phone, EVERYTHING.

Hi there, Destiny. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

I am sorry to know that you are experiencing some issues with your MagicBand+. It does seem like you've tried all of the quick fixes to no avail. The best solution at this point is going to be to reach out to a Cast Member on the MagicBand Support Team. You can reach them by calling (407) 939-4357 anytime between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. each day. They will be able to give you the best advice on how to fix the issue that you are having.

Destiny, once it all is worked out I think you are going to love your new MagicBand+. I recently just returned from a trip to Walt Disney World where my daughter and I used our new bands and it was a lot of fun. There's quite a bit of new technology that went into these and you can tell!  Probably my favorite thing was the interactive statues throughout the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. I hope you'll love them too!

Before your trip, take a listen to the new planDisney podcast that was just released today. They go over the ins and outs of this new technology and it is super informative. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.

    Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
