    Will the new Lightning McQueen driving academy be a fast pass ride? If so, can you book those passes now for the future?”

    Hi Kathryn!

    I'm so happy you will be planning on taking advantage of the FastPass+ System during your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort! This is definitely the best way to make the most of your time in the theme parks. I love the fact that we can make reservations for the attractions and entertainment on our "must-do" list, allowing us to spend the rest of our day exploring the magic in the theme parks.

    Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy is such an exciting addition to Disney's Hollywood Studios. This new show is going to be a fun opportunity for Guests to learn the art of racing straight from Lightning McQueen. Opening tomorrow, this show will be a 10-minute show, followed by the opportunity for Guests to meet Cruz Ramirez and join a dance party with DJ in the courtyard outside the show. Currently, FastPass+ reservations are not offered for Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy. We haven't received any information that FastPass+ reservations will be offered in the future, so I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as your trip approaches to get the latest updates about this experience and other new additions to Walt Disney World Resort.
