Hiya, Hugo! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney. I'm so excited that you'll be visiting
Walt Disney World Resort next month - and all the way from Brazil, too! The new Lightning Lane system is a change to how Guests book some of the most popular attractions in the theme parks, and I'm happy to help so you can get the most magic out of your vacation.
This is such a good question--that is a pro move to book a Virtual Queue for a particular ride, then purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass so that you can potentially enjoy TWO experiences. I'm happy to report that you can set up your Disney day this way for double the fun on some of the most popular attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, TRON Lightcycle / Run, and the newly-opened Tiana's Bayou Adventure (I can't wait to try this out on my next trip "Home"!).
Hugo, one important thing to know is that at this time, international Guests cannot purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass until they arrive in the United States. If you'll be at Walt Disney World for an extended vacation, you may have the most success trying to secure Lightning Lanes later in your stay (up to 7 days in advance) when there will likely be better availability.
Be sure that you have the most recent version of the My Disney Experience app downloaded to your mobile device to ensure that everything works like a dream throughout your stay. And speaking of technology, I've also started using the MagicMobile Pass on my phone for park entry, checking in for Lightning Lanes, accessing my Disney PhotoPass pictures, and more!
Your vacation is just around the corner, Hugo, and I sure hope you are getting excited! Thanks again for stopping by planDisney, and please reach out again anytime if we can help with additional questions.
See Ya Real Soon!
Susan
