Hey Howdy Hey Yogini and welcome to planDisney!
While there is so much excitement going on at the Walt Disney World Resort with several new attractions, the finished reimagination of EPCOT and looking forward to a new Disney Hotel option later this year, we also have a new product launch. With the recent launch of
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass, there is a familiarity with how to book and navigate these options however booking with the Park Hopper Option does need a little clarification. Not worry Yogini, you've got a friend in me to break it down and let you know how the current process works.
Long story short, the Park Hopper Option for Lightning Lane Multi Pass is built in and requires no extra purchase to book Lightning Lanes for other parks. There is, however, one catch. When you purchase the Multi Pass option, you will have to select which park you want to purchase it for. Your initial 3 Lightning Lanes will have to be booked at the same park. Once you start to make the rolling 1 Lightning Lane selection after you redeem your first ones, the system will recognize your ticket option and you can book your Lightning Lanes in any park you choose at no extra cost. The Single Pass option will allow you to book 2 selections each day.
I'm sure you know but friendly reminder that Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass options are available for Guests staying onsite at a Disney Resort hotel or qualifying hotel at 7:00 AM 7 days before your date of arrival. All other Guests can purchase them 3 days before their park experience.
I hope this information helped to clear up the details with Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Park Hopping. If you have any other questions, please let us know, we are always happy to help!
To Infinity and Beyond,
Nick
