Hi there! With the new Lighting Lane Multi Pass system and park hopping, can I select my second park as the park of choice to book the rides? For example, I would select DHS as my park then select from those rides but actually start in AK.

Welcome to planDisney, Margo! I'm so glad you hopped over to chat with us about the new Lightning Lane Multi Pass system at the Walt Disney World Resort! I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet, but I'm excited to be able to make advance selections for some of our favorite attractions before we arrive for our next visit!

With the new Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Guests who have the Park Hopper Option are eligible to select Lightning Lanes from any of the four Theme Parks, regardless of where you plan to begin your day! This is a great strategy if you're hoping to stack some attractions for later in the afternoon or evening once you arrive at your second (or third, or fourth) park of the day! When you make your selections, just remember that all 3 of your initial selections must be made at the same Theme Park and you won't be eligible to make any additional selections until you have redeemed one of your preselections. Once you've made your first redemption, you can choose another attraction (subject to availability).

Since you mentioned starting your day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and booking attractions for Disney's Hollywood Studios, it's also important to note that there are two groups of attractions at Hollywood Studios - you're able to select one attraction from group 1 and the additional two from group 2 for your preselections. You can take a look at the list of eligible attractions and experiences here to help you plan ahead! Margo, remember that these selections can be made 7 days ahead of your check-in date if you are staying as a Guest at a Disney Resort hotel, and all other Guests can make selections 3 days ahead of their Theme Park visit.

I hope this helps you to hop to it, Margo, and snag all the Lightning Lanes you want before your arrival! Remember once you make your initial selections you can also go back in and modify times or attractions if your plans happen to change! This added flexibility is especially helpful for Guests planning to park hop! If you have any other planning questions, come on back to planDisney and let us know!
