    Hi will the new interactive magicbands be available to resort guests through the usual method of magicband ordering in the app? Or do we need to look elsewhere? Release date I’ve heard is July 27 but potentially earlier for resort guests. Thank you

    I see that you have a late November trip planned to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth. You'll be able to enjoy some of the festive decorations and celebrations before the crowds get too busy. I think you're traveling at a "practically perfect" time. 

    Purchasing a MagicBand+ for your vacation is a great idea. I had the pleasure of trying the MagicBand+ at a media event in May. They're really cool! I really enjoyed getting a taste of the Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters experience. Make sure you spend some time at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and test out your MagicBand+ in style. 

    As was announced on the Disney Parks Blog, MagicBand+ will be available for purchase on July 27. You'll be glad to know that Disney Resort hotel guests will receive a special discount, which will be available online pre-arrival. Like before, you'll do this through your My Disney Experience account. 

    Guests can also purchase MagicBand+ online from shopDisney or any of the following merchandise locations at the Walt Disney World Resort:

    • Magic Kingdom Park: Emporium
    • EPCOT: Pin Traders – Camera Center
    • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Celebrity 5 & 10 and Tatooine Traders
    • Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park: Discovery Trading Company
    • Disney Springs: Disney’s Pin Traders
    • Select merchandise locations at Disney Resort hotels
