Hello Erin!
Welcome to planDisney and the
Disney Annual Passholder family! It's a lot of fun being an Annual Passholder and I just renewed mine for the second year. I have found that this past year I had a great time making more plans to visit my "happy place" and having a pass in place made it easier!
Disney Incredi-Pass holders can make and hold up to 5 theme park reservations at a time in addition to the ones they can make if they are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel.
Theme Park Reservations are made the same way for both kinds of trips, whether staying on-site or off-site. For those trips to the Parks, you will make while staying off-site you will select "Guests with Tickets or Passes" and you will be brought to a page to "Create Your Party." From there you may have to select your name and your Annual Pass and it will show here how many reservations are available. Annual Passholders can book theme park reservations till the day their pass expires. I believe in the beginning the expiration shows as a year from purchase but it will adjust as the real expiration is 365 days from the first day you enter the Parks using it. It's at that moment the true expiration date "appears" on your
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Be careful though as you don't want to lock up all of your 5 reservations on a trip far into the future as you may need them for a sooner trip. Reservations have not run out lately unless it is a major holiday or special event such as the opening day of a new attraction. On the Annual Passholder Preview Day for Tiana's Bayou Adventure, theme park reservations for Magic Kingdom Park disappeared within a day of the announcement! You may also get lucky and find out that one of the days you wish to visit becomes a "
good-to-go day." These are days when no theme park reservations are needed for Passholders. I have had reservations made when it was then designated as a "good-to-go" day. Once that happened I had my reservation returned to me so that I could use it for another time. Sometimes these days are created a few days before so keep an eye on the
Annual Passholder Admission Calendar to be up to date with any changes.
Don't forget to ask about
Annual Passholder discounts at every merchandise and dining location you visit as there are so many places that provide one. I hope that this helps and you have a wonderful time exploring the Parks this year!
Happy Planning!
