With the new ice rule can you still bring in Hydro Flasks with ice water into the park?

    Hey there, Marci!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your great question. I'm excited that you are already planning the details of your upcoming Disneyland Resort vacation!

I'm delighted to let you know that you are more than welcome to still bring ice water into the parks in your reusable water bottle. The "no loose ice" rule that has recently been implemented in the parks is referencing loose ice cubes that might be packed in small coolers. These ice cubes can spill (which I have personally witnessed in the parks) causing a slipping hazard for other guests. Plus they can make it more difficult for Cast Members to search coolers at security check points.

Staying hydrated during your park days is SO very important when you are under the California sun, so I'm glad that bringing a water bottle is a priority for you. I sometimes get so caught up in riding attractions and visiting Characters that I forget to drink enough water, and I get a headache and feel run down quickly. Know that you can grab complimentary ice water cups to refill your water bottle at Quick Service locations at both parks. You can even check online or on the Disneyland app for the locations of water fountains in the parks. Some brand new water bottle filling stations have also been popping up in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Tomorrowland of Disneyland Park.

I hope this was helpful. Please return if you have any other questions about planning your magical vacation, and have a Fantasmic day!
