With this new guess assistance plan that Disney is starting - how does this work with rides that the fast pass is sold out for the day? How will this affect those who cannot stay at the parks all day long?

Hi, Pam!  The Disability Access Service card doesn't have anything to do with the FastPass system, so it won't matter if an attraction has no FastPasses left when you arrive.

The DAS card allows you to go to an attraction, where a cast member will give you a time to return based on the wait time at the attraction.  If, for example, an attraction has a 40 minute wait time, your DAS card will be marked with a return time to come back in 40 minutes.  That allows you to spend the 40 minutes in a way that is most comfortable to you.  You can go to an attraction with a shorter wait time, grab a bite to eat, do some shopping, or even just find a shady spot and relax.

I hope you enjoy your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World!
