Hi Peggy,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is one of my family’s favorite Walt Disney World Resort hotels. We love the Spanish-influenced theming, amazing pool, and stunning grounds at this resort – it just feels like vacation to us!
I stayed at
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort a few weeks ago, and was so excited to see how far along the resort’s re-imagining is.
Three Bridges Bar & Grill looks amazing, and has such a perfect location in the middle of Lago Dorado; another great benefit of this new restaurant is that, as the name reflects, there are now bridges crossing the lake, making it easier to explore and navigate the spacious grounds and check out the pools, dining and shopping, and lovely fountains and Disney details throughout the resort.
Peggy, the
Gran Destino Tower is the newest addition to the resort, and the plans look just gorgeous. When it opens, the tower will offer Club-Level Rooms, an
amazing rooftop restaurant with fireworks views, and a beautiful new lobby and check-in area. To clarify, Gran Destino Tower is part of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, not its own resort. As I understand it, Guests staying at the Gran Destino Tower will use the same
resort bus loop as all other Guests at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort; bus stops or order may change, but I don’t think we’ll have those details until the tower opens in July, so stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog or call (407) 939-5277 to speak to a Guest Relations Cast Member if you have specific questions once the tower opens.
I hope this has helped with your planning, Peggy, and please come back and see us if you have any further questions.
Now, more than ever, it’s such an exciting time to visit Walt Disney World, with so many new offerings around the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs, and I hope you have the best time!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
