Hello. I am new to this forum. I was just wondering what were the best parks for a 4 year old? I am thinking Magic Kingdom and Animal KIngdom? Also, should we stay on the property? I am not familiar with the hopper passes and dining. Thanks

Hi Melissa! Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I totally agree with your thoughts about going to both the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom for your four year old. If you have another park day, I'd highly recommend going to Disney's Hollywood Studios. There is so much to do for all ages, including Toy Story Midway Mania, Beauty and The Beast Live On Stage, and Disney Junior Live On Stage.

I always recommend, especially for a first visit, to stay on Disney property. The perks are too many to mention, and start with Disney's Magical Express that takes you from the Orlando Airport right to your resort, transportation to all parks, Disney Dining Plan, which saves you tons of money and Extra Magic Hours, where Disney resort guests have daily special access to the parks. With so many resorts to choose from, you can pick according to your budget and preference, ranging from value resorts right through deluxe.

The Park Hopper option can be added on to your theme park tickets, and allows you to visit any or all of the theme parks on the same day. For example, you can spend the morning in the Animal Kingdom, go back to your resort for a siesta, and the spend the evening at the Magic Kingdom.

Hope this helps Melissa! Please write us back with any questions you might have!
