    New DVD members and wanted to which is the best resort for kids? Also, any tricks for getting into Tomorrowland Terrace? I have a 6 year old gradaughter. Our first time at WDW was last year and learned alot from just that one visit. Another tips?

    Hi Patti,

    I feel the best and unique Disney Vacation Club resort is the Animal Kingdom Villas.  The rooms are very spacious and the theming is fantastic.  You will feel as if you are truly in Africa.  I would recommend a savanna room.  There are very few places that you can wake up and see giraffe, zebra, and Ankole Cattle right outside of your window.  My children actually would wake up early (gasp!) to see what was outside. There is a Hakuna Matata Playground that is open 24 hours that is right next to the Uzima pool.  The pool is zero entry and is so beautiful.  The Uwanja Camp is in the Kidani Village and is so much fun for kids.  It is an animal observation site and a water playground that that will have pulley and squirting gardens and a water tower for kids ages five to seven.  There is Simba's Cubhouse Children's Activity Center that is a supervised activity center for children 3-12 that is open from 4:30 pm to midnight so you can enjoy so adult time.  My family just adores Animal Kingdom Villas!  The Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party cannot be reserved 180 days in advance.  Reservations usually open up 60-90 days, and I would recommend calling (407)WDW-DINE to make the reservation.  Make sure you register at www.dvcmember.com to stay up to date on DVC information.  I would visit the Member Perks page to see all the discounts that we get as members.  Please send me another question if I can help you further, Patti as I am running out of room.  Welcome Home!
