new DVC-trip planned with 3 & 5 yr grandsons who do not sit still long-where would you suggest on dining plan? Last trip we stayed in cabins & ate there. we are do meal plan this trip

Hi, Denise!   Traveling with the little ones is a lot of fun, but can be challenging at meal times!   When my kids were younger, we opted for buffets and meals served family style so we didn't have long wait times for our food to be served.

Some places you might want to try . . . Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom (dine with Pooh and friends!), Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary,  Hollywood & Vine in Hollywood Studios, Tusker House in Animal Kingdom, Ohana (breakfast served family style) at the Polynesian, or Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge.   Click HERE for more dining ideas.

Make sure to have your Advance Dining Reservations made by calling (407)WDW-DINE.  These can be made 90 days prior to your vacation.   Hopefully this will allow you to have some nice meals that both you and your grandchildren can enjoy!    Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
