I am new to the DVC. I am trying to plan a trip with 3 adults and 5 kids ages 5-15. We are going to stay in a 2 berdoom villa, but I am trying to decide between Boardwalk and bay lake towers. Any suggestions?

    Hi Angela,

You will love being a Disney Vacation Club member!  I would suggest staying at Bay Lake Towers at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  The two bedroom villas are larger and will sleep nine comfortably.  You will be right on the Monorail and can access both the Magic Kingdom and Epcot this way.  A very special perk staying here is being able to go to the Top of the World Lounge.  This is exclusive to DVC members and their guests staying only at Bay Lake Towers.  There are appetizers and a full bar and it is located on the 16th floor and has a deck with unobstructed views of the Magic Kingdom Fireworks.  It is just amazing. If you are able to stay at Bay Lake Towers, I would definitely do so!

Boardwalk is another wonderful resort to stay in, and you are able to walk to Epcot and take a boat to Hollywood Studios.  A two bedroom villa at Boardwalk is what is know as a lock-off.  It is a combination of a one bedroom with an adjoining studio.  This will sleep eight comfortably.  Whatever resort you choose, you will not be disappointed, Angela.  Send me a follow up question if I can help you further.  Welcome Home!
