We're new to DVC. Can our park tickets and dining options still be put on our room keys? I want to purchase a 3-9 dining option for my 2 but almost 3 yr old. Do I also have to purchase her park tickets the same way?

    Grace,

I was in the exact same position last year.  My two year-old could easily eat as much as some 6 year-olds.  I was not able to purchase the dining plan for her because she was under 3.  If she was three I would have had to also purchase her park tickets.  It is by far cheaper to go with a two year-old than a three year-old.

We ate at a lot of buffets because children under 3 eat for free.  Many of the fixed priced restaurants like the Garden Grill and Cinderella's Royal Table would give us complimentary toddler meals.  Since we were also on the dining plan, we were able to purchase her counter service adult meals.  At other table service restaurants we purchased kids meals and had them charged to our room.

As a Disney Vacation Club member you can purchase your park hopper tickets when you check in to your resort.  The castmember helping you can put the tickets right on your room key.  You can also add a dining plan to your reservation by calling DVC member services at 1.800.800.9800.

    Have a fun trip
