We are new DVC owners. Coming in November with grandkids. We are staying at BC, they have opted for AK. When they come to visit us, are the little guys able to swim and play in the kids pool area?

    Hi Delores,

Thanks so much for your question!  If you love your DVC membership half as much as we do, you'll be so glad you joined.  Becoming DVC members has been one of the best decisions we ever made as a family.  When I think of the magical Disney vacations ahead of us, it just makes me tingle all over!

DVC members do have some pretty exciting pool-hopping opportunities.  However, Stormalong Bay (the water fun area at Disney's Beach Club Resort and Villas) is so popular that it is not included on the list of pools where DVC members and their guests may "pool hop."  This pool area is reserved only for guests registered at the Beach Club.  However, if you list your grandchildren on your room reservation then they will certainly be permitted to enjoy the lovely pool area.

If you have any additional questions about the Beach Club, just post a follow-up question for me.  My family just stayed there a few weeks ago and we loved it.  We learned quite a bit about this amazing resort while we were there and would love to share our findings with you!

Have a blast with your family in November!
