    New DVC members traveling 1st week of Dec. I am watching the member site as well as blogs etc for announcements. When should I expect to hear about Merry Mixers and Welcome Home Wed. for the week of our trip?

    Howdy Stacie!  It made my heart so happy to see your name in the list of questions!!  I have missed seeing your questions and I cannot thank you enough for making the Disney Parks Moms Panel a part of your planning.

    I was hoping that if I waited a few days, information might magically appear regarding the Merry Member Mixer.  Nothing yet but I spoke with Member Services and at this point, there are still no confirmed release dates for the information.

    As I mentioned before, in the past, information was released in August and/or September so hopefully you will see something soon.  The information will be posted on the Disney Vacation Club Member website once it is available. 

    As a reminder, the past few years Merry Member Mixers have been on Tuesdays in November and December from 3-5 PM and they have been held at either Epcot in the World Showcase or at the Convention Center at the Contemporary.

    Welcome Home Wednesdays are held on most Wednesdays at 2:00 PM at the Atlantic Dance Hall on Disney's Boardwalk. 

    I'm sorry I don't have more information.  I know you are trying to plan your meals and itinerary.  I know it's difficult but try to stay as flexible as possible until the dates are released. 

    I cannot tell you how excited I am for you!!  Your first trip to Walt Disney World as Disney Vacation Club Members is just a few short months away!!  Enjoy every magical moment and let me know if you need any further information.
