    new dvc members and staying at old key west 6/19-6/25/10. we love disney and try to take it all in every time we go (probably will be my 20th time there!). first time at this resort, hoping to get a room w/ view of epcot's fireworks. possible?

    Congratulations on purchasing Disney Vacation Club.  My family has enjoyed countless memories and fabulous experiences thanks to our membership!  Old Key West is a lovely resort, with beautiful grounds, a wonderful main pool area, huge villas, and THE best Key Lime Pie at Disney (at Olivia's)!  Coming back to the resort after a long day in the parks is a treat.  My boys love spending time at the Community Center playing games, doing crafts and making friends.  Unfortunately, there isn't a great view of Illuminations from this resort.  However, both the Beach Club Villas and BoardWalk Villas are within walking distance of the International Gateway Entrance to Epcot.  Since you have a lifetime of Disney vacations ahead of you, these are good choices for upcoming trips!
