Hi! New DVC members staying at the Beach Club November 24-Dec. 1. What are the best restaurants/dining experiences at Epcot that are good eats for kids (6 and 8). Thanks!

    Hello, Kathleen!

Welcome home to your new Disney Vacation Club family! I'm so happy that you and your family have decided to become DVC Members, as it will truly provide you with generations of family vacation memories.

Congratulations, too, on booking your upcoming stay at Disney's Beach Club Resort! It's a beautiful resort, with so much to do right there on property, but you are in for a treat, too, when you discover how very close you are to Epcot! Even with kids in tow, from the gorgeous glass doors to the lobby to the "back door" entrance to Epcot's World Showcase is just a five minute walk!

For your dining options at Epcot, be sure to book a  meal with the princesses at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, in Norway, for delicious food and great pics. We also enjoy  the family-style dinner at The Garden Grill, in The Land Pavilion, with Chip 'n Dale. Les Chefs de France (in the France Pavilion) is also delicious, and Chef Remy often makes an appearance table side, too! If your little ones love aquariums, try Coral Reef Restaurant, at The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion, where your view includes a wall of windows into the 5.7 million gallon salt-water tank that's filled with 85 different species of tropical fish! Teppan Edo (Japan) is another family fav., as the talented chefs grill, and entertain, right at your table. My kids love it!

For Quick-Service dining, don't miss Sunshine Seasons, in The Land Pavilion. Great variety, good value and FABULOUS desserts! On that note, don't miss Fountain View Ice Cream (waffle cones, right by the fountain!) and Boulangerie Patisserie (France) some tasty sweet treats.

Send more questions about any of these restaurants, your resort, your DVC Membership or anything else that you think of; I'd love to help!
