Hello, Louise, Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. As a fellow
Disney Vacation Club Member, I am so, so happy to be able to say, "Welcome Home!" to you!
My husband and I stayed at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa last summer. We loved the spacious grounds and especially its convenient proximity to
Disney Springs.
One of the benefits of staying in a
Disney Vacation Club Resort is definitely the kitchen area. You will be happy to know that you will find dish cloths, towels and dish detergent as well as lots of other kitchen essentials like dishes, glasses, cookware, etc.
Since you'll be looking to get groceries, you have a few options. If you want use a ride share service to head to a grocery store, Publix is probably the closest. However, if you want to save a little time, you might want to consider grocery delivery.
Did you know you can
order groceries direction through Disney Vacation Club? To do this, simply fill out the order form and fax it to your resort. You can also order through a separate grocery service like Garden Grocer if you prefer. And finally, if you've stocked up but forget something, there is always
The Artist's Palette Shop where you can find milk, bread and more right at your resort.
Louise, I hope this helps as you are prepping for your first stay as Disney Vacation Club Members. Welcome to the Club- you're going to love it.
Wishing you extra pixie dust for a Magical stay,
Lauren
