New DVC members, just bought our 1st Annual Passes! What is your favorite DVC/AP perk/benefit? Also Disney Visa cardholder, is the photo per vacation or per day? If per day, If we go to Epcot 2 days can we hope to have 2 different characters? Thanks

    Hi Stacie,

Being a new Disney Vacation Club Member is so great!  I am excited for you that you are starting to take advantage of the many perks associated with being a Disney Vacation Club Member.  What's my favorite one?  That is a hard question.  Like you, I love the discounts that Disney Vacation Club Members can get on certain Walt Disney World annual passes.  One of my other favorites is that Disney Vacation Club Members are eligible to purchase Tables in Wonderland.  For $100 for one year, you get a Tables in Wonderland card which gets you a 20% discount at many Walt Disney World dining locations.  When you like to eat as much as I do, this is a great deal!  Be sure to download Portable Perks to see all of the perks and discounts currently available to Disney Vacation Club members.  To do this, log into the Disney Vacation Club Member website.  From there, go to "Member Extras" and choose "Perks and Discounts" from the drop-down menu.  There is a link to download Portable Perks on the right-hand side of that page.  Please do be aware that Disney Vacation Club member perks and discounts are subject to change.

My fellow Disney Vacation Club Disney Parks Moms Panelist Kari helped me with your question about the photos for Chase Disney Visa cardholders.  The character meet and greet for Chase Disney Visa holders typically includes one to two of the "Fab Five" characters - Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald Duck.  The limit is one photo per day, but there is not a limit per vacation, so you could go back each day of your vacation.  While the characters may rotate, they also may not.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Stacie!  Please do come back if you have more questions about your new Disney Vacation Club Membership!
