Hi! I am a new DVC member and I am going to stay in the villas at Grand Floridian Resort next month. I know the check in starts at 4:00 in the afternoon but I would like to know if I can arrive at any time after this starting hour, even if it is dawn. Tks!

    Hi Gisella,

Let me be one of the first to say "Welcome Home!" to Disney Vacation Club.  Many great years of vacation memories await you!  A stay at The Villas at Grand Floridian Resort & Spa sounds amazing.  I love the Victorian elegance and charm of this resort, and the proximity to Magic Kingdom is wonderful.

I called and spoke with a cast member at Disney Vacation Club Member Services, who let me know that anytime that you want to arrive after the check-in time is fine.  Since you have booked the reservation using your Disney Vacation Club Vacation Points, your villa will be held for you.  I do suggest that if you expect to have an extremely late check-in time, that you note this on your reservation just to make the cast members aware that you will be arriving late at night...or maybe even early in the morning!

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Gisella.  Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions about Disney Vacation Club or Disney travel planning!
