    Hi! We are new to Disney World; trip booked for May31-June4; especially so our 6 yr old sone can experience Star Wars weekend. How early do people wait in advance for gates to open @ Hollywood Studios to sign up for the Jedi academy?

    You and your family are going to have a great time at Star Wars Weekends. The entire week is filled with fun and excitement for all who attend. From the great characters and costumes to the amazing photos, this is a can't miss event for any Star Wars fan. Due to it's popularity, it is common for crowds to arrive early to ensure that they get a chance to do all of their favorite special adventures. Perhaps a photo with that special character or a good spot to watch a show. FOr these reasons the lines for all the events during Star Wars Weekends tend to be heavy. I would suggest arriving early and being patient, as any young Jedi must learn. With these tools, you and your family will have a magnificent time at Disney Hollywood Studios.
