What will the new Disney Springs area replacing Downtown Disney be like? My DS is very disappointed as he LOVED the T-REX Cafe, will they be keeping that?

    Hi Laura!
Disney Springs is a planned multi-year retheming to much of the current Downtown Disney area. It is also a second attempt at revitalization as the originally planned Hyperion Wharf was scrapped about a year ago. There will be four "themed neighborhoods" in the current plan and it is unknown at this point what will remain from the current establishments and what will be added. I suspect many of the current restaurants and shops will remain, but with a project this size, it is hard to say with any certainty at this point. You can check out some preliminary information here:

I would recommend staying tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for the latest information on this project and all other things Disney.
I hope this helps and I look forward to this incredible improvement!! :)
