Hello, VERY new to Disney planning. I am kind of figuring out the website, hotel-park ticket options. I wanted to know if its an option to just relax at a beach for the day? Do you have to stay in the parks or on the resort? Thanks!

    Hi Colby!

Welcome to the amazing world of Disney vacation planning! As someone who is almost always planning our next Disney vacation, I can tell you that planning the vacation can be just as fun and exciting as enjoying the vacation! One of the things that makes Walt Disney World Resort vacations work so well for our family is the flexibility that it allows us to have in our vacation plans. You do not need to visit a theme park every day during your vacation and you are also free to explore Cape Canaveral, the beach or other parts of Florida during your vacation if you choose. In fact, for my family vacations, I try to plan plenty of down time, for both my husband and my children, so our vacation is not just fun, but also relaxing!

So I recommend that you plan to include some free time during your trip for a visit to Disney Springs for shopping and dining, some time to enjoy the pool, dining and theming of your Disney Resort hotel and even to explore some of the other Disney Resort hotels during your trip. I have found that time really helps my family have plenty of energy to enjoy our entire vacation!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
