Hi Sarah!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Thank you for sending in this question. With whichever
Disney Dining Plan you choose, you will still receive a refillable resort mug which can be used for unlimited refills of select fountain drinks and hot drinks such as tea, coffee and hot chocolate. You can make these refills at the beverage stations at any Disney Resort hotel. The changes actually apply to what is included with each dining plan credit. With each
Quick-Service meal and
Table-Service meal a drink is included, and this can be an alcoholic drink for guests of age 21 and over. If you would like more than one drink with your meal (alcoholic or otherwise) you can, of course, pay for this. You can always top-up your refillable mug and take it to your meal with you, and then request a bottle of water as your drink allowance with your dining plan, which you can take away with you.
You will be allocated your total amount of credits at check-in (if you use online check-in, this will be from 7.00am on your arrival day) and you may use your credits up to midnight on your departure day. It's easy to keep a track of your dining plan credit balance on your
My Disney Experience app, or by asking your server at any restaurant, and if you find you still have some Quick-Service entitlements left at the end of your stay, I would suggest visiting your Quick-Service location, or retail location within your Disney Resort hotel and ask if they will convert each Quick-Service credit to 3 Snack credits. You could pick up a few items for your journey home, or to take home as gifts! Unfortunately, there is currently not a precise list of locations where you can convert dining credits to snacks, but it's always worth asking as it is completely down to the discretion of each individual facility.
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.
