With the new dining plan, I know that locations like Ronto Roasters that don't have kids meals you can use a kids credit on a regular meal. Do I need to do this in person or will the app let me order it as a child credit?

Bright suns, Jessica! Ronto Roasters is one of my favorite spots to grab a quick bite to eat in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and it sounds like you’re looking forward to stopping by there during your upcoming vacation.

When you place a Mobile Food and Beverage Order through your My Disney Experience Mobile App, you'll have the ability to use your meals and snacks from your dining plan. As of now, there is not an option within the app to designate that your meal should be a kids meal at places like Ronto Roasters, The Lunching Pad, and Casey's Corner - all Quick-Service locations that do not have a separate kids menu. You will want to go in-person to chat with a Cast Member to see if they're able to make that distinction for you at the restaurant.

We had a great experience with the Disney Dining Plan on our recent vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. I loved the ease of selecting menu items for mobile orders, and how it allowed me to plan ahead. My kids, somehow, didn't use all of their snacks while in the parks, so they were each able to choose some candy from our Disney Resort Hotel's gift shop to bring on the ride home.

If you're up for some suggestions, here are a couple! One of my favorite Quick-Service Restaurants is The Polite Pig at Disney Springs - the brisket is great and you can't go wrong with any of the side items. For a Table Service dinner with a view of animals grazing on the savanna, try Sanaa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village. Don't forget, if you're planning on visiting a Table Service Restaurant, you'll want to book an Advance Dining Reservation 60 days before your vacation to secure your table.

Jessica, I hope this is helpful, and I'd love to answer any other questions you have as you continue to plan for your vacation!

    See you real soon!
