Hi there! With the new 2018 dining plan coming into play, I know for the Disney Dining Plan you will now receive 2 snack credits. In the past, if I had any QS meals left over I could exchange them for 3 snack credits. Does this work vice versa? Thanks!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rebecca! The dining plan is the best way to fill your tummy higher than Pooh’s honeypot. I’m always dreaming of what snacks I can get in the Parks and Resorts! My current favorites are the Orange Bird Swirl and the Fresh Fruit Waffle, both found in Magic Kingdom.

If you have a Quick Service Meal Credit that you’d like to trade, you can do so at the restaurant, and receive 3 snack credits. You can redeem these for all sorts of things, like a bottled water, a soda, scoop of ice cream, piece of whole fruit and more, notated on all Disney Menus with a little purple square DDP logo. Unfortunately, you can only “trade down” and not up. You cannot turn snack credits into a meal. But I’m sure if you are visiting Walt Disney World Resort during Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival, you could snack your way around the World Showcase and turn small plates into a nice little tapas meal!

If you’re looking to make your vacation easier and full of fun, check out Memory Maker and it’s incredible PhotoPass value. I have several collections of photos from my friends and I snacking in the World Showcase, and the photos are amazing! Should you have any other planning questions, please let us know; we’re hEAR for you. ~ Lindsey P.
