With the new 2018 dining plan, are beverages that you receive at each QS and sit down meal charged as separate credits? For example, if I did not want a beverage with a QS lunch and wanted to have 2 glasses wine at a sit-down dinner, is this allowed?

    Hi Jessica,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! I really enjoy having a glass of wine with supper too, especially when I’m on vacation!

The way that Disney Dining Plan entitlements work is that you need to use up every component of a given entitlement (i.e a quick service or a table service “credit”) at the same meal. You can’t carry over, say, a dessert or a beverage to another meal, regardless of the type of credit used at the previous meal.

So, to answer your question, you won’t be able to “carry over” your beverage entitlement. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t pay for your second glass “out of pocket”, if you’d like another!

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
