Andrew from MT Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Under the new digital Rider Switch policy if Group 1 uses FastPass, can Group 2 using RS board in FP line right after they are done? Saw the return window might not start until 10 minutes less than standby time. Is that true only if Group 1 rides standby?

Greetings Andrew and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Rider Switch is such an amazing service that really helps Guests visiting with little ones who are still not tall enough or with other Guests who are unable to ride.

Under the new digital system up to 3 Guests can return with a Rider Switch pass that will be linked individually to their MagicBands or cards. The one-hour return window starts at the standby wait time at the time the Rider Switch pass is granted minus 10 minutes. This is true whether the first group entered the attraction using FastPass+ or through the stand by line. For example, if Rider Switch entitlements are issued at 10:00 a.m. and the attraction wait time at the moment is 40 minutes, the one-hour return window starts at 10:30 a.m., and Guests can use the FastPass+ line to redeem their pass.

I hope this helps you while planning, Andrew! Please stop by real soon with more questions!

    Best magical wishes,
