Bonjour Nathalie, welcome to
planDisney! It’s so great to chat with a fellow Canadian and assist with Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions.
I’m excited about the new
ticket offers that are available to Guests visiting
Walt Disney World Resort in the upcoming months. Currently, there is a
special ticket offer for Canadian Residents as well as the new
Special 3-Day, 3-Park ticket to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park Only as well as a
4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket that allows Guests to visit each Park once. Great news, Nathalie, while you can only visit one Park per day with each of these offers, Guests can exit and re-enter the same Park throughout the day as often as they’d like (based on park occupancy).
Like you, my family enjoys a mid-day break when visiting the Theme Parks, especially when visiting in warmer weather. When it comes to swimming, my daughters are fish like Nemo and Dory and love to take advantage of time in the resort pools! When my daughters were younger, we’d head back to the resort for lunch and a nap and then return mid-afternoon ready to experience more attractions at the theme parks. Now that they are a bit older, heading back to the resort mid-day makes for a nice pause and it’s a change of pace so we can return to the parks refreshed and ready to last til much later.
We love using
Walt Disney World Resort Transportation and, depending on which Disney Resorts Collection Hotel we are staying at, we hop on an
air-conditioned bus, enjoy a leisurely cruise using
Walt Disney World Water Transportation, travel by aerial gondola on the
Disney Skyliner or ride high in the sky and use the
Walt Disney World Monorail Transportation.
It looks like you’ll be visiting while the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival is here. It’s an annual springtime event with gorgeous gardens, perfectly groomed
topiaries of various characters,
Garden Rocks Concert Series in the America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure Pavilion, and the Festival Outdoor Kitchens with their delicious offerings (these are a must-do for my family!)
Nathalie, I hope this information is helpful to your vacation planning. If you have any other questions, please
let me know!
A fellow Canuck,
Candace
