Lily from TX Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

New dates are available. Am I able to pick a different day even if tickets are already purchased?

Hiya, Lily! Welcome to planDisney and our magical little corner of the internet. Your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is just TEN days away! It's time to pack up the Minnie ears and prepare yourself for days filled with fun and nights filled with wonder and magic!

Since I'm sure you are hoping to lock in your dates quickly, let's just get right to it. YES! You can absolutely move your theme park reservation to another day, provided there is availability. While you make a theme park reservation during the ticket purchasing process, I sometimes think it's easier to think of the ticket and reservation as two separate pieces of magic. The ticket will get you through the Main Entrance Gates, but the reservation holds your spot in a particular park on a particular day and it can be changed if needed. Life is full of surprises, and sometimes they are not the pixie-dusted kind, so you do have some flexibility to make sure you can make it to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Changes can be made by canceling your current booking and then making a fresh, new reservation. Reservations are subject to availability, so I always like to take a look at the current theme park reservation calendar before I make any changes. Popular dates will go quickly, so be sure to have your fingers prepped and ready. There is a slight chance that in between canceling and making a new reservation the reservation may get swept up. I'll think happy thoughts that this is not the case for you, but if it is, definitely keep checking the calendar. Guests are always changing their plans!

To make a change to your reservation, simply tap the "+" along the bottom navigation bar within your Disneyland Mobile App. Select "Make a Park Reservation". This will take you to a page where you can "View current availability for theme park reservation", which I highly recommend before making any changes! Here you can also "View My Park Reservations" where you will click to make the change. Scroll to the date you would like to change and select "Cancel Reservation". Once you follow the prompts, you will be brought back to the first page where you can make a new reservation.

I sure hope you are planning to stay well past sunset so you can catch some of the newly returned nighttime spectaculars! My personal favorite is the Main Street Electrical Parade! It brings back the best, nostalgic memories as soon as that first float comes into view! My favorite spot to catch the parade is back by "it's a small world". The parade marches down Main Street, U.S.A. twice each night with the first parade starting back by "it's a small world". In addition to having a bit more wiggle room with a less crowded viewing spot, you'll also be the first to see the finale float and make your way to your next attraction before the parade has even finished up! The parade is best viewed with the new Electric Sweet and Salty Popcorn which can be found at the "it's a small world" popcorn cart, inspired by the parade itself!

Lily, we are always here for you at planDisney if any more questions come up!

    Magic awaits!
