Hello I am new to cruising. I was wondering what is the difference in the room types? I definitely want an outside room so I can have a view. Looking forward to cruising but don’t know where to start. Help?!?!

    Ahoy, fellow Californian Lori -

Our family discovered cruising several years ago, and we've never looked back. It is a choice family vacation that has given us the opportunity to enjoy family-time, but also have some rejuvenating me-time combined in an all-inclusive package. When you cruise with Disney, you can expect excellent service, world class amenities and top notch entertainment. There's a lot of things already included in your base cost, and there's always something for everyone.

The staterooms on the Disney Cruise Line are comfortably sized. My family's choice of stateroom is usually one that comes with a balcony or a veranda. I like spending early mornings sipping my coffee while enjoying the breeze and the view of the horizon. The inside staterooms are very comfortable as well, they even have the newer rooms with a magical porthole - really cute when cute Disney characters take a peek.

Depending on how many guests are staying in one stateroom, you may be offered a few Stateroom Choices. Have you thought about where you'd like to sail? There's lots of information meant for New Cruisers on the Disney Cruise Line site too. We're always here to answer any of your questions, just in case you're not sure where to look... so feel free to drop back in with more questions. We are always happy to help.

I hope this gets you started with helpful information, Lori.

    Happy planning!
