Hi! New to cruising with Disney! Are we able to leave our own vehicle at a DVC resort (we would stay with our DVC points) and take the DCL transfer for the duration of our 4 nt cruise? Thank you, Jodi

    Ahoy There, Jodi!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for sailing by with your question. How exciting that you are planning a Disney land and sea adventure.  Our family has done this a few times, and it's the best way to be part of two worlds!

Jodi, Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation is a super easy way to take your vacation from the parks to the port. However, if you are going to have a vehicle with you, unfortunately, you can't leave your car at your Disney Resort Hotel while you are sailing to the great wide somewhere. Walt Disney World Resorts Collection Hotel parking is for Guests currently staying on-site, and due to limited parking spaces, they can't accommodate Guests without hotel reservations.  However, the drive from Walt Disney World Resort and Port Canaveral is super easy! The Port Canaveral Port Authority operates parking garages directly across from the Disney Cruise Terminals. No reservations are needed and you can pay when you arrive. It is easy to carry your luggage from your car to the terminal, or you may drop off your luggage and then park your car.

When you disembark, your royal chariot is right there in the parking lot for you. It will make it easier for you to disembark and head to your next destination.

I hope this helps you, Jodi! If you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, sail back here to see me, and I'll be so happy to help you.
