New here to cruising and am curious to all this food available, what is complimentary and what meals or food do we pay for ? We will be on the Disney Dream. Do we have dinner each night at the same place?

Cheers to cruising with Disney, Lisa!

Congratulations and we are so happy to officially welcome you to the world of cruising. You've picked an awesome vacation for your family and you'll be amazed at how much is already included in the base price of your cruise. All your meals & non-alcoholic drinks at the main restaurants & quick service food areas are already included in your cruise cost. Throughout your voyage, you'll be rotating at each of the 3 main restaurants onboard. In no order, they are Animator's Palate, Enchanted Garden and Royal Palace. You'll get your assigned dining rotation on embarkation day. Order anything on the adult & kids menus... it's all you care to eat! Dining times are either at 6pm or 8:15pm. It is assigned seating and you'll be dining on gourmet dishes, specially crafted by the talented Disney Cruise Line chefs. You'll also have a dedicated service team during dinner - they'll follow you at each dining location each night.

Also included is the 24-hour Room Service... which means, dining & munching whenever you want. My kids love ordering warm cookies & milk at bedtime - or whenever they get back from the Youth Clubs! I love getting my Mickey Ice Cream bars as a mid-afternoon snack before we head out for more fun for the rest of the day. Pool area dining is also included - it is casual and quick service... all-you-can-eat ice cream! Cabanas buffet also offers a great selection of food. If you come out to the adult lounges & clubs in the evenings, there is bar chow too. Even the fancy desserts & light snacks at the Cove Cafe (food changes throughout the day) are free.

Remy and Palo's adult-exclusive dining is available for an extra fee (and so worth it). Specialty drinks at Cove Cafe and all around the ship (Drink of the Day), as well as alcoholic beverages onboard are an extra charge.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask away, Lisa! We're here to help. ~ Dolly
