A new concern with my son's peanut allergy is just contact with people or items that have touched it. Does or will Disney offer days only for food allergy children? I would pay extra just to know that peanut residue was not an issue.

Hi Lacey! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

As a mom of a child with food allergies I know just how nerve wracking traveling can be. I know the feeling of being worried every second that your child may somehow be exposed to an allergen. When we are in the home environment we can do such an amazing job of making sure that everything is kept clean and not contaminated but it isn’t so easy when traveling.

I have not heard of any times that Disney has offered any special days for kiddos with allergies unfortunately. What I do know is that the folks at the Walt Disney World Resort do work extra hard to make sure that those with food allergies are safe. What I would suggest that you do is contact the Cast Members that work directly with Special Dietary Requests. They may be able to suggest some steps that you can take to keep your child safe. They also are available to answer any of your questions and you can work with them hopefully accommodate your dietary requirements.

I hope that you are able to enjoy Disney sometime soon!
