New so cal resident but no government ID yet, can I still use my so cal ticket to get in?

Hi there, Sonia! Welcome to Southern California or the "best coast" as my planDisney pal Brent calls it! I'm so glad you've stopped by, and that you're looking to use the special Disneyland Resort Southern California Resident Ticket. It is an awesome way to experience lots of magic at The Happiest Place on Earth.

Unfortunately, the current SoCal Resident ticket requires all Guests ages 18 and older to show a government-issued photo I.D. with a qualifying ZIP code to verify eligibility for admission. I checked with a Cast Member, who stated that there is no substitution for a valid photo ID and that rental agreements, bank statements, utility bills, etc. are not accepted as proof of eligible residency. For more information, check out the Offer Details section of the SoCal Resident Ticket page. Sonia, while it is up to the Cast Members at the Main Entrance to check your ID, you may want to be prepared to purchase a different ticket to enter. There were some recently announced ticket offers that will be good during Disneyland's 70th Anniversary Celebration that may fit your needs!

If you would like to talk with a Cast Member about your specific situation, you can visit the Disneyland Main Ticket Booth in person, or call the Tickets phone line. Hopefully, there is enough time between now and when the tickets expire on May 15, 2025, to get an updated ID.

I hope this information helps, Sonia. If you have any other questions, please come back again. You've got a friend in me!

    See you in the parks,
    Melissa
