    With the new buy annual pass and get 13 months I know you have to purchase by January 2nd but do you have to activate the pass by then to get the extra month?

    Glad to hear that you are looking into purchasing a Disney Annual Pass.  I always get excited when I am ready to renew mine and even more exited for other folks.  I also love the shopping and dining discounts that come as a perk for having an annual pass. 

    I confirmed with a Cast Member that your annual pass, all 13 months, is not activated until you visit a park. Just make sure to visit any ticket window at any of the WDW Theme Parks or at Disney Springs in order to grab your new annual pass.  Have your confirmation number ready in order to speed things along because you want the fun to begin immediately.
