Glad to hear that you are looking into purchasing a Disney Annual Pass. I always get excited when I am ready to renew mine and even more exited for other folks. I also love the shopping and dining discounts that come as a perk for having an annual pass.

I confirmed with a Cast Member that your annual pass, all 13 months, is not activated until you visit a park. Just make sure to visit any ticket window at any of the WDW Theme Parks or at Disney Springs in order to grab your new annual pass. Have your confirmation number ready in order to speed things along because you want the fun to begin immediately.
