Welcome back to planDisney, Alison. It's so nice that you've come back to our friendly little corner of the internet after all these years! Keep those questions coming, as we love to answer them.
Starting June 28, 2026, Guests boarding one of the
buses from
Disney Springs to one of the
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels will be asked to show a valid resort key for the resort they are visiting, have an advanced dining reservation there, or have a reservation for another experience at that hotel. If you do not have one of these and are not taking your own car to Disney Springs, you can look into a rideshare to get back to your non-Disney-owned accommodations.
One of my favorite things to do is eat at one of the
table-service restaurants at the Disney hotels in the middle of a busy park day. On my upcoming trip to the resort, I'm spending the morning at
Magic Kingdom Park and then hopping on the monorail for tea service at
The Garden View Lounge. I cannot wait to experience
this newly reimagined space at Disney's flagship resort. But really, so many of the hotels have incredible table-service options, and it's a great break that lets you wind down a bit, enjoy the experience, and refuel for more fun in the parks.
Allison, enjoy your holiday at the resort. If you have any other questions,
I'm happy to answer them!
You are the magic,
Matt
