    Hello, With the new BOG menu, are substitutions allowed? For example can I get potatoes instead of asparagus?

    Hi Kimberly, 

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! I haven’t had a chance to experience the new menu at Be Our Guest Restaurant, but if it’s anything like the previous one, I’m sure it’s going to be absolutely delicious!

    The ability to make substitutions to a meal at a prix fixe restaurant is always difficult to say in advance. If there are potatoes on the menu that evening (for example, as a side dish for another plate) and the kitchen is able to satisfy special requests, it might be possible to make some limited substitutions for roughly equivalent ingredients. The only way to know for sure would be to ask your server what your options are. Even if potatoes can’t be substituted out for asparagus, maybe another vegetable will be available to you that night.
