Hi, with the new ban on loose ice, does that also exclude putting loose ice in a zip lock bag to keep formula and drinks cold in a soft sided cooler? Thank you.

Hi Catherine, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm delighted to share that ice cubes inside resealable bags are perfectly fine according to the new rules. The new restriction only excludes ice that is loose within a container such as a cooler or a lunch bag, and was put in place to help streamline the bag check process and help Guests enjoy the fun as soon as possible!

When my husband and I visit the Theme Parks, we like to rent lockers to leave fresh food and drinks. It is super helpful to keep delicate items away from the sun. This strategy is also great to keep our backpacks light during the day! Maybe it's a good idea for you, too!

I think you'll also enjoy learning about the fantastic Baby Care Centers, as they can be super handy if you are traveling with little Mouseketeers. Many moms here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel say that they're real lifesavers! Among other convenient items, they offer private nursing rooms, feeding areas, changing tables, and a kitchen with microwaves.

I hope that you and your family have a magical vacation in March, Catherine! If you ever need more help or advice to make the most of your time at the Walt Disney World Resort, please, come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We will be here waiting to help you!

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
