    Does the new 2021 annual pass start the 365 days when you purchase online or from the date you first use it? We will purchase in September but won’t be there until December. I want to make sure it will be valid until December 2022

    Hey there, Brian! I'm so glad you've stopped by planDisney to talk about the Walt Disney World Annual Passes. I've been a passholder for several years now and I can honestly say it is well worth the investment! I love it. 

    Brian, you are only a day away from when you are able to purchase a new Walt Disney World Annual Pass. Are you getting so excited? I know that it has been a long wait for Guests who were wanting one. Brian, I think you'll be happy to know that your year of magic starts from when you activate your annual pass, not when you buy it. Activation occurs the first time you use it to enter a Walt Disney World Theme Park. So if you purchase a new Walt Disney World Annual Pass tomorrow when they go on sale but don't use it until December this year, your expiration date will be in December 2022. 

    With the release of sales for new Walt Disney World Annual Passes, we are seeing a new restructuring of the program, Brain. Now, Guests who live out-of-state are able to purchase the Disney Incredi-Pass which offers access to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks 365 days a year with no blockout dates. You also are able to hold up to 5 park pass reservations at a time without a resort stay. Previously, we've only been able to hold up to 3 at a time and I am so excited about the change. Also, as a Disney Incredi-Pass passholder you'll receive up to 20% off of food, merchandise and resort stays. The perks of this pass are great, Brian!

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
