Congratulations on becoming an
Annual Passholder! So many delightful Disney days are in your future!
Not only do Annual Passholders get endless days at the
Walt Disney World theme parks, they receive fun perks as well. In the past, Annual Passholders and
Disney Vacation Club members were granted early access to registration to
runDisney events. When registration for races opened this summer, early registration was not offered to these groups. runDisney has not announced if this is a new policy or part of covid protocols, so we don't know going forward if this perk will return or if it's discontinued.
Currently spots for runDisney events tend not to fill as quickly as they once did, though this might be due to people still being hesitant of crowds. A few years ago it seemed as if popular races sold out in mere hours. Now there are still bibs available for the
Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon weeks after registration opened.
You might want to consider joining
Club runDisney if you like the idea of signing up for races before spots open publicly. Gold and Platinum members are granted early registration access.
