I just got a new android phone. I have an upcoming trip to Disney world at the end of February how do I transfer my pass from my old android phone to my new one? The app says open Google pay to see my passes but they aren't on the new phone.

    Hi there Paul!

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for sending us your question! As somebody who constantly forgets their MagicBand at home, I absolutely love the Disney MagicMobile service as it makes going to the parks so much more convenient. I also see that your magical vacation is coming soon - you must be so excited! I know I would be, especially with The World's Most Magical Celebration in full swing.

Paul, I am sorry you are having issues with your MagicMobile Pass. I wish I could simply bibbidi, bobbidi boo this issue away, but thankfully there are a few things we can do to fix it! First, since you purchased a new phone, you should be able to see your digital wallet transferred once you sign into your Google Pay app. In this case, however, I would try to redownload your pass as it might not have transferred from your previous device. To do so, you would go into your My Disney Experience Mobile App and click on the three lines at the bottom right of your screen. Then, you would click on "Disney MagicMobile" and then on "Set Up Your Pass." Second, if you are not able to redownload your pass into your digital wallet, I would simply get in contact with a Guest Relations Cast Member via chat, email or phone. Unfortunately, since the "Select Passes to Share" feature is not yet available for Android smartphones, you would not be able to share your pass to your new phone. Therefore, I believe that calling a Cast Member directly would be the best option in this case. To avoid longer wait times on hold, I would recommend calling right as they open at 7 A.M. If this is not an option, I would also recommend looking into if you have other devices that you could use such as an Apple Watch, as Galaxy smartwatches are not yet compatible with My Disney Experience.

I understand this might not be the answer you were hoping for, but I hope that this issue will be fixed quickly for you and that you can get back to planning your magical vacation. If all else fails, do know that you can always pick up a physical copy of your ticket at a ticketing window at the main entrance of any of the theme parks, or purchase a new MagicBand for your upcoming visit. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out! After all you and me, we're in a club now.

Have a magical day and I am sending you all the pixie dust,
