I am very nervous about the FastPass+ system. I have never used it. I have heard that you can only select certain attractions per tier. Can you explain this? Also how does rider switch work with the new system? We will be taking our 14month son with us.

    Hi Kristie,

FastPass+ is an easy way to plan some of your vacation prior to you arriving at the Walt Disney World Resorts. This is how it works:

Each guest can pick up to three different FastPass+ for any available attraction, show, character greeting or dining. These must all be in the same park. Once the time of the third FastPass+ expires, you can then book a fourth FastPass+ for any available FastPass+ option in any of the four major parks. It does not have to be in the park as the first three. This fourth FastPass+ has unlimited renewability as it expires. As long as there are FastPass+ options available, you can continually book a FastPass+. You can also repeat a previous FastPass+ option.

At Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios, there are tiered options. For example at Epcot, you must initially choose between Soarin' and Test Track with your first three FastPass+ options. However, with your renewable FastPass+, you can book the other.

RIder swap still works the same was as in the past. Both adults will need to book the FastPass+ option and then the rest is the same as the past.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
